14.01.2022 A planned burn is underway opposite Coastal Forest Lodge. This is the controlled use of fire under carefully managed conditions to reduce fuel thus increase safety during bushfire season. Fire crews are monitoring and patrolling the area. The helicopter is landing in the front paddock. Please drive carefully, always.

07.01.2022 This pair are often seen soaring above their territory over CFL and nesting here during Spring. Last Spring they had a young one, we'll be keeping an eye out for another this year. Young wedge-tailed eagles depend on their parents for food up to six months after hatching. They leave only when the next breeding season approaches.
