All our events have a very relaxed cut-off time of 8 hours but for this event we will wait until every runner and/or walker arrives home across the finish line. 13.01.2022 Just want to express a big thankyou for the overwhelming support of this years Semaphore Coastal Running Festival event. Not quite a record attendance as yet b...ut we're certainly getting close to what we had back in 2016. We currently have 269 registered runners and could greatly benefit from the assistance of a couple more volunteers to help out on the morning especially with finisher timing

12.01.2022 Rego closing soon. Hoping you can join us running under the cover of a full moon for either 10km, 21.1km half marathon or the full 42.2km marathon distance on an AIMS measured course. Midnight Saturday running into Sunday morning. ... Finisher medals for all including a "BLUE" theme trophy winner.

09.01.2022 This is the event you want to be running next weekend supporting both the ACRF & Bravehearts. The Yorke Coastal West 2021 on Sunday Feb 7th includes South Aust...ralia's first trail marathon using part of the "Walk The Yorke" trail in Port Victoria. There is a distance for everyone from 7km, 14km, 21.1km & 42.2km with prices from $15 - $35 including finisher medal. With a very relaxed 8 hour cut-off time you can "enjoy the journey" with a run and/walk. Theme is "Maroon & White" with trophy available to whoever best represents this theme. We are returning to the Yorke for the 6th time to run the "Walk The Yorke" trail on the leg. . . Known as the ‘last of the windjammer ports’, Port Victoria was a hive of activity in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s with the shipping grain overseas via Cape Horn. Port Victoria was the last port in Australia to load a windjammer, which earnt the town it’s nickname; there is a memorial near the town jetty to commemorate its maritime heritage. Port Victoria was where the Great Grain Races began, where in 1932 twenty ships loaded with wheat left Port Victoria bound for the English Channel (a distance of 24,139 kilometres). The ‘Parma’ won the race in 1932, completing the voyage in 83 days. Off the coastline of Port Victoria is Wardang Island, which is 8.4 x 2.4 kilometres and covers an area of around 2,025 hectares. Port Victoria also has a pre-history, as well as a maritime history with the Geology Trail following its volcanic beginnings. The trail meanders along the coast from the jetty to Rifle Butts Beach. Interpretive brochures are available from the kiosk near the jetty. . . Enjoy a road trip away on Yorke Peninsula with a team dinner in the local pub the night before. Hope you can join us and we are also looking for any volunteer help to assist on the day. #yorkes #ptvic #trailmarathon #walktheyorke #roadtrip #leg #enjoythejourney #acrf #bravehearts #coastalfunruns #communityevent

04.01.2022 Is anyone going to take home the trophy next week? The new 2020 plate is being added soon. Last year we had 19 registrations (capped at 20) who tried their best... but all became proud owners of a DNF medal. Greg Ponych & Nat Cess took home the smaller trophies as the male & female runners who lasted the most laps with Greg just missing out on being the ULTRA ONE by 18 seconds. Greg & Nat were pushed all the way by the other awesome runners. Greg completed 17 laps for 111kms with Nat completing 13 laps for 86kms. I can share that you may be in with a great chance this years as at this stage there are only 4 runners willing to take on this challenge. #ultraone #lastonestanding

04.01.2022 Will you join us for a weekend run?
