25.01.2022 Amazing day with great people from the US! We had some rain but it was welcomed by all. It made the day so much better as wildlife was everywhere.

22.01.2022 It is with a very heavy heart that we the Coastal Island Safaris team Greg & Tanya have decided on putting our award winning, one of a kind day tour on hold for the time being. Corona virus and a couple of other things have hurt Coastal Island Safaris significantly. It is extremely sad as it's been in the family for nearly 3 decades! We are grateful though for all the opportunities, memories, customers, staff & drivers throughout our journey. We couldn't have done it with out... any of you! And our biggest thank you to North Stradbroke Island - truly a place like no other. It is new beginnings and adventures for now as we are highly appreciative that we have moved to our family farm 20 minutes North of Gympie. Due to the fact 90% of our clients were from overseas, we had to move. We are in the works creating a beautiful camping farm stay at the family farm - Gunna Park. We also will still be doing 4x4 transport for other businesses. We wish everybody well and will keep pages open at this stage if anybody wishes to contact us. Thank you all again and take care. 15.01.2022 Gunna Park - Bush Camp in Queensland is now on my to visit list. I had a brilliant chat to Tanya & Greg today about their bush camp.. their plans..the 34 vario...us farm animals.. many whom are rescues. Plenty of space between campsites. Message from Greg & Tanya: Thank you to all our guests for staying with us, respecting others, leaving no trace and just being amazing campers that you all are!!! It was lovely to see all the smiles on everyone's faces, people enjoying all the activities & camp cricket brought back many camping memories of my own from my younger days Animal feeding has been a real hit these holidays and the animals (all 34 of them) are grateful & full Animal feeding is free & is around 4:30pm daily for future guests to also enjoy. Was horrifying to see the amount of rubbish collected off Minjerribah but also so humbling to see all the volunteers that took time out of their lives and helped collect over half a tonne of rubbish off the beautiful North Straddie!!! Help keep Australia clean. Don't trash your future, pick it up & put it in the bin!
