25.01.2022 Another great wedding on the weekend with the very vivacious Kim and her great partner Adam. Usually we only conduct one wedding per day however I was contacted by Kim at late notice and she was so visibly disappointed that we couldn't convey her on her big day that I had to see what we could do. Luckily the timings etc aligned and we were able to pick up the effervescent Kim and her three lovely Bridesmaids and head off for a nice cruise in intermittent rain showers down to ...Torquay before arriving at the Minya Winery for the ceremony. With a bit of 'Kombi Karma' the sun came out upon our arrival and we didn't have to break out the brollies at all. After the 'I do's' there were some very nice photo opportunities with their great family and friends before the 'party began'. What a wonderful, vibrant and down to earth couple and it was very enjoyable to be able to spent a small amount of time with them. 24.01.2022 Another terrific day where 'Dormy' and I got to participate in the wedding of Craig and Ebony. What an awesome couple and I again had a great time with some really wonderful people and it was indeed a pleasure to be involved. After picking up Craig and his mates from Clifton Springs we cruised down to Lorne stopping at a few locations, including Bells Beach and for a late lunch at the Aireys Inlet Hotel with the boys sharing is some memorable moments along the way. After drop...ping the guys at the Lorne Beach Pavilion I collected the beautiful Ebony, her Dad Keith and her six gorgeous sisters for the drive to the ceremony. After a bit of a 'drive by' down the main street we made our grand entrance for the assembled family and friends just as the sun came out for the fantastic beach wedding. After photos at locations around Lorne it was back to the Beach Pavilion for the reception. Many thanks to Craig and Ebony for allowing us to play a small role in their big day and we wish them much joy and happiness for their future together. See more

23.01.2022 Another terrific wedding with the very chillaxed and genuine Tim and Simone allowing us to share in their big day on Friday and they had great Kombi Karma being blessed with some of the best weather we have had for a long time. After collecting Tim, his cool young son and the best men in 'Dormy' we went for a bit of cruise through Geelong and the waterfront before dropping the boys at the Barwon Edge Boathouse. We then made tracks back to rendezvous with 'Bluey' in time to pi...ck-up the beautiful Simone, her Dad the lovely and stunning bridesmaids and not forgetting of course the precocious Lilly. A nice drive to the ceremony at Barwon Edge followed by photographs with the now Mr and Mrs and their wonderful friends. I then returned later that night to take the tired but very happy couple to their wedding night location. We wish Tim, Simone and their growing family much love and happiness for their future together. See more

22.01.2022 Another great day on Saturday where we attended the wedding of David and Hayley. David is the proud owner of a really nice Kombi which is a similar year model and almost the same colour as 'Dormy' so it was fantastic to spend some time with another Kombi aficionado. I collected the beautiful Hayley, her lovely Bridesmaids and her Mum and Dad from Portarlington and we had a very cool cruise to Terrindah Estate with the girls in fine voice singing some great tunes. What a magni...ficent location for a wedding looking out over the Bay and the weather was perfect. After photos the party began and I returned later that afternoon to transport David's family, who had come all the way from England for the big celebration, back to Portarlington. I would like to thank David and Hayley for letting me share in their big day and I wish them much happiness and continued 'Kombi Karma' in their future together. See more

21.01.2022 We had another fantastic day on Saturday at the wedding of Greg and Megan. Our attendance was a big surprise from Greg to his lovely lady Megan as they are 'Kombi people' and hope to have their own Kombi up and running again soon. What a wonderful and unpretentious couple who shared their day with a great group of family and friends and most touching was that Megan and Greg took the time on their big day to travel and visit with and share the moment with their Nan and Pop who were unable to attend the ceremony. What a lovely couple and we really enjoyed spending the day with them and wish them much happiness and 'Kombi Karma' for the future.

18.01.2022 We were lucky to have participated in Matt and Laura's wedding on Friday. Our role was to take Matt and his Groomsmen for a bit of a spin before getting them to Terrindah Estate Winery on time for the big event, and what a great drive it was. I met Matt and Laura early on in our 'Kombi journey' and they were one of our first bookings. You know how there are some people you meet and you just sort of 'click', that's the lovely Laura and especially the very upbeat Matt. What a p...leasure it was to drive Matty and his best Mates to his special day. Like all of us I sometimes dwell on all of the hard work that I have done and am still doing restoring our cars and the stresses of starting the business etc and then I get to spend time with some of the nicest people on one of the happiest days of their lives and it is all certainly worthwhile and substantiates the decision to do what I now do. Maybe 'Kombi Karma' is real after all! Thank you Matt and Laura for allowing Coastal Kombis to share in your day and especially for making me feel included. 12.01.2022 We were lucky to have been able to play a small part in the wedding of Jemima and Ben on Friday. Jemima is a local girl and I know her Mum, Barbie, her Dad, Graham and her two Sisters and so this made the day even more special. I arrived to collect Ben and the Groomsmen during intermittent rain showers and there were concerns that the wedding location would have to be moved from the lovely beach location at the local Raaf's Beach. However the rain stayed away and I took th...e boys for a bit of a spin, during which they managed to scoff most of the lollies, I then delivered the guys and then travelled back to pick-up the beautiful Jemima and her Brides party consisting of Mum and Dad, her two sisters and best friend. I felt compelled to take the gorgeous Jemima and her family for a drive down her home town main street for the last time as a single lady. It was then off to the beach and with some 'Kombi Karma' the rain stayed away during the great beach ceremony right up until the presentation of the now Mr and Mrs. A little shower did not dampen the happiness and joy of the lovely couple or their family and friends and this was reflected in the weather clearing and the sun appearing for happy snaps and celebratory drinks. After photos it was off to 'The Heads' restaurant for the reception. Thank you so much to Jemima and Ben and their families for letting me share in their big day and I wish them much happiness and joy for their future together. See more

06.01.2022 We participated in Marnie and Ray's wedding on Saturday with this being a very special event for us as well as for Marnie and Ray in that they were our first ever booking with Marnie contacting us within days of our website going live and over recent months we have engendered a wonderful rapport with them with these guys being one of the nicest couples you would hope to meet. It was indeed a pleasure to be involved in their big day. We picked-up Ray, his Dad and the Groom...s party, all eight of them, from Torquay for the drive to Barwon Heads for the ceremony and imagine my stress levels when we started having some 'Engine Gremlin' trouble half way there but I managed to limp 'Dormy' to the church on time with Ray and the boys actually taking it all in their stride and having a great time and expressing that "this was the best wedding ever"! Gotta love a Kombi and more importantly the cool mindset of those who choose to experience their day in one and Ray is definitely a very cool bloke telling me as I struggled along; "don't stress it Mate it's no worries it will all be fine". 'Dormy' demonstrated why we adore her so and after a quick fix she pushed through and accompanied by her Kombi mate 'Bluey' we collected Marnie, her parents and Bridesmaids and got them to the chapel with time to spare, phew. While the day suffered a few rain showers this did not at all dampen the spirits of Marnie and Ray or their great friends in their Bridal Party and you could not ask for a nicer bunch to spend some time with. After the ceremony it was off to 'The Barn' in Wallington and then back to the beach for photos before back to 'The Barn' for the big entrance. 'Dormy' and I then came back later that night to collect the now Mr and Mrs. Another fantastic day shared with terrific people and we wish Ray and Marnie much love and happiness in their future together. 03.01.2022 We were lucky to share in the wedding of Jessica and Matt on the weekend. Having gotten to know them both over the last few months I can honestly say that it would be difficult to find a more likeable and good natured young couple who are obviously so very much in love. I travelled out to Bannockburn to collect the beautiful Jessica, her Dad and lovely Bridesmaids and then a nice cruise to Truffleduck at Fyansford. The weather was windy with rain showers however with maybe a ...bit of 'Kombi Karma' the clouds cleared at the right moment and the outdoor ceremony took place in bright sunshine. It continues to humble me to be able to witness the love and affection that is so visibly demonstrated by the couples and their close family and friends at the weddings I attend. Jess and Matt absolutely 'glowed' on the day and their love for each other was clearly evident for all to see. We wish them much love, happiness and continued 'Kombi Karma' in their lives together.
