22.01.2022 Most people tend to ignore niggles or minor injuries, but research suggests this might not be the best approach. In a study on 218 semi-professional footballers (soccer) a "Niggle" (minor or moderate injury that didn't prevent them from training or playing) was associated with at least 3 times higher risk of sustaining a more serious injury within the next week. If you are feeling any niggles, get them checked out by your physiotherapist, there will usually be some things you can do early to make sure they recover well and don't become a bigger problem.

19.01.2022 Patellofemoral pain (pain under or around the kneecap) is the most common overuse injury in runners. But having pain doesn't necessarily mean that you need to stop running. 10.01.2022 How's your foot and arch strength? Most people will struggle with this type of exercise initially, but with practice you can improve. This can be a useful exercise for building a stronger foot and being able to hold your arch up more effectively.
