05.01.2022 Busy weekend at Coast Guard Gold Coast with the outriggers racing on the broadwater, yacht racing both offshore and inshore, a beautiful day to have a jet ski out and a meeting at our base for the flotilla commanders.

05.01.2022 Coast Guard Gold Coast have been on a search and rescue from early hours this morning. At 2.30am, officers were called to the Esplanade at Surfers Paradise where three people had entered the water but only two had returned back to shore. A man was treated by QAS Paramedics on the beach. Coast Guard Gold Coast, Water police, VMR and Rescue 500 were called on to search for the missing man. Watch 7 News tonight for further information.
