17.01.2022 LOLLIES LOLLIES LOLLIES LOLLIES LOLLIES LOLLIES ... The kids always want to stop for lunch in Richmond whenever we drive from Launnie to Hobart....I wonder why

13.01.2022 The playground will be the very first place we'll go when lockdown is over - we're lucky to be in Launceston which has to have the best selection of playgrounds in Australia! What will be the first thing you'll do when we're allowed out and about again?

08.01.2022 Yeeess! Every. Single. Time.
06.01.2022 It’s a Tassie devil up a tree! Not something you see every day We sported this fine fella near the Red Bridge in Campbelltown - have you seen any wood carvings like this around Tasmania? Such incredible skill. Oh and look at that sky! So much better than the rain clouds we’ve been looking at for a few weeks - the weather really turned on for us for our mini road trip weekend away.
05.01.2022 For the past few years we've supported the Red Faces charity travel auction and have had some amazing experiences with the bids we've won. We stayed in Outback Qld, Thredbo and all through Tasmania with their travel packages and discovered a load of new accommodation and travel experiences we never would have come across on our trip. We'll be bidding for the Tasmania package again this year - with 7 nights of accomm and experiences and over $2000 in value! ... This is how it works - you can see the 40 different packages all around Australia on the link below. The packages have been put together from donations from different travel and tour companies, hotels, resorts and B&Bs etc. You can place your highest bid on as many packages as you like and see if you win. Last year we were the highest bidders on three packages and got close to $10,000 worth of travel for a fraction of the cost. All the money raised goes towards supporting mental health in SA so it's an amazing cause too. They also run a gala event later in the year - you can find all the details on the below website - https://www.redfacesvarietyshow.com.au/ And join the Facebook event - https://www.facebook.com/events/2457701917587783/
03.01.2022 Are the any other skatepark-slave parents out there? Wherever we visit is now dependent on whether there is a decent spot to scoot! A recent trip to Ulverstone did not disappoint - probably one of the best scooter spots we’ve found yet. As well as a skate park there’s also this brilliant pump track - we were there pretty early and had the whole place to ourselves for hours. Bonus - in the background there you can see the caravan park which has a gate right onto the park - which is also right next to a giant dinosaur and train themed playground, a waterslide for Summer and opposite the beach. Kids’ paradise!
02.01.2022 It’s a bit chilly at night at the moment so we splashed out and stayed in a lovely Air BnB for the night - and this was on our doorstep when we woke up this morning We did a quick Launceston, Hobart, Orford loop stopping at so many lovely sights along the way - check out our stories for some highlights. Every time we drive around Tassie we find something new and awesome! And Bobby always loves finding the beach of course
01.01.2022 Launceston is just SO PRETTY! I snapped this shot while the boys and pup were having a play at the Royal Park playground - such a good spot. In the distance there you can see @pepperssilohotel - a great place to stay for families and right next to the Riverbend Park which has to be one of the best playgrounds in Australia!
