18.01.2022 HOME BUILDER GRANT $25,000 First home buyers may be eligible for a $40,000 cash boost . The Federal Government has announced a HomeBuilder Grant that will provide eligible owner-occupiers (including First Home Buyers) with a grant of $25,000 to build a new home (up to $750,000) or substantially renovate an existing home (for contracts between $150,000 - $750,000). Contracts must be signed prior to 31 December 2020, with construction to commence within three months of t...he contract date. First Home buyers in Queensland will still be able to access the $15,000 FHOG in addition to the $25,000 Home Builder Grant - giving them a $40,000 head start to build their first home.
