24.01.2022 Time to start slowing down on on feeding your lawns. Your grass will shortly move into a dormancy stage and will not require as much nutrient. This just leaves more nutrient for Moss and weeds to flourish over winter.
24.01.2022 Great Weekend, congrats to all the Rottnest swimmers. Condolences to the Shark effected swimmers.
24.01.2022 Some insight into Core Aeration, by the commercial growers
23.01.2022 A vertimow I completed today. All ready to thrive and cracking for Spring. 550 kgs of thatch removed. #feelingold
23.01.2022 Top dressed this lawn mid December. A month later it is responding beautifully. It will now hold moister and colour for longer. Combined with good even watering and the use of wetter it will handle summer temps very well.
23.01.2022 From the 1st of June your reticulation should be off, but with the correct practices you can maintain a good healthy lawn and garden. With the cooler weather there is little evaporation, so the soil will maintain a good amount of moisture. Applying wetter now and again in late July will greatly assist with getting moisture nice and deep into the soil. Also if you are able, cutting your lawn with out a catcher or using a mulching plug helps keep organic matter in the soil, as it breaks down well over the wet period. It also helps maintain a little more moisture in the soil.
23.01.2022 Look at what can be achieved with the right practices and patience. Lawn care is a partnership between contractors and clients. This beautiful change has happened from January to May.
22.01.2022 This things Holier than a Cardinal. If you want to get your lawn to a Divine level contact us for Core Aeration this spring.
22.01.2022 Far more effective core aeration and the ability to assist in reducing badly uneven ground.
21.01.2022 New large 2 metre soil spreader is champing at the bit to be used. Looking at getting some great results with top dressing this Spring and Summer. Core aeration and top dressing has the best return in Spring, whether you want to get rid of troughs and mounds or bring some good organic nutrient back to the lawn, Spring is the time to do it.
20.01.2022 Returned to a property I Vertimowed in December, always nice to see the fruits of your labour. A very happy customer, great results for a Buffalo lawn with over 70kgs it f thatch removes.
19.01.2022 The rain held off, and allowed me to rip through this lawn making it a low dust day.
19.01.2022 Really getting some great colour on clients lawns. Good time to get a good liquid wetter down, it's quick and easy for anyone to do and really is a must in Perth.
18.01.2022 With Spring a couple of months away, lawn renovation spots are filling fast. It's time to decide if it is some thing you want done in Spring or if your happy to wait for a later point in Summer. Either time is a great time to conquer that thatchy hard to mow lawn. 15.01.2022 Grass should be getting cut with a slightly longer leaf length, to allow your grass to absorb more light.
14.01.2022 There has been a lot of weed growth over the last 2 weeks, now is a great time to get in the garden and spray for weeds, before they seed and germinate. An application on lawns now and again at the beginning of October will really set you up for spring and summer.
13.01.2022 I was lucky enough to be involved in this madness on the weekend. More machinery than sense was present and a great deal of information and learning was exchanged along with some laughs. I worked with a great bunch of guys. Joel Brandreth, Daniel Clynk, Jamie Homan, Brad Hill, Kerion Ralph and Greg Ralph. Spring is going to be a busy time, looking forward to some great results from across all of Perth with this bunch showing themselves to be perfectionists. I still have a couple of days available for September, October and November is filling fast. Remember lawn renovations can be done from now untill the end of March early April.
13.01.2022 You should be double checking your watering systems and making sure they are delivering a good even amount of water. I like to allow my retic to run with each station getting 4 to 7 minutes of water. Then once the cycle has completed I then run it again for a further 2 cycles. This allows the water to get down deep. Beginning of summer, so get that soil wetter down and fertiliser down with another application to follow halfway through summer, along with regular mowing your lawn will be thick and ready to help fend off weeds through winter.
13.01.2022 Just to make everyone aware that from the 5th to 16th of July, I will be on holiday. I have moved and condensed some of my runs so that everyone’s lawns will be done. Some a few days early and some a few days late.
13.01.2022 Another happy customer with a lawn that will be "Best in Street". A Buffalo lawn coming back nicely after 3 weeks. https://www.facebook.com//1382/permalink/2678440992275340/
12.01.2022 Pleasant morning spent getting this house ready for photos. Beautiful day to be outside.
11.01.2022 Another one bites the dust, hang on, I think I bit more dust. Hoo wee, a big load of thatch, she just kept giving.
11.01.2022 Started another job reducing the height of this lawn and looking after this beautifully established garden.
11.01.2022 I am doing a Core Aeration and Grooming run up to Two Rocks on the 18th of February. If you need a little boost for your lawn due to the last couple of hot spells please book soon as spaces are filling fast. All works come with applications of wetter, fertilser and soil amendments.
10.01.2022 It dawned on me today as an immigrant while I mowed a fellow Africans (although I am proudly Australian) lawn that despite my grumblings about supposed inaction by our government. Their actions far surpass nearly all other countries, and as a whole there really is no better place to be at this time. We have a great medical health system, great logistics and great community. Do your bit, be smart, be healthy and be kind. Thanks for the continued support to all those who have... not only given us business, but also those who have and do ask questions and given me support. OK continue. PS, water your lawns
09.01.2022 Vertimowing season is well and truly underway. Have had a couple of buffalo lawns under my belt already and numerous couch, excited to see the results. Loving this time of year.
08.01.2022 Another vertimow of a patch of Kikuyu, for a lawn addict. We will see the difference in a month.
07.01.2022 This is a Vertimow done this morning. Will be back and powering along before Christmas.
07.01.2022 Early spring bookings for Vertimowing and Aeration are filling fast. If this is something you are considering, with us or indeed any contractor, then get it booked in ASAP..
06.01.2022 Returned to a lawn that I top dressed mid December. It is a Buffalo lawn that was patchy and struggling. 1 month late it has really rebounded and will now hold it colour longer and the soil will hold moisture better in combination with wetter.
06.01.2022 With the weather front approaching there will be some reshuffling of clients lawns. Please allow for a few days either side for my visit. Also please remember as of next Friday I will be on holiday for 2 weeks.

03.01.2022 Buffalo lawns are really showing a fast recovery time now. Here is a lawn I did this week, managed to take about an inch out if the canopy. It will recover quite fast and be nice and green for Christmas.
03.01.2022 Backup and vertimowing again. Been abit absent while recovering from minor injury. Time to get cranking as the weather starts to settle down abit heat wise. If you have a good water supply and the drive to maintain your lawn then this is what can be achieved. It's a partnership, the home owner needs to get involved as well.
03.01.2022 Vertimowing season is almost here. I will be starting a dedicated run in October for NOR. Starting the 1st October through to the 5th. Wetter and Fertiliser applied and all thatchtaken away. Just to clarify this is not a scarified service, this is a vertimowed or groomed service, faster recovery, better on water and less mud and dirt for the following weeks, same result.
02.01.2022 Just some of the beautiful lawns I help look after. Good lawns are always better when the owners are involved as well.
02.01.2022 Getting soil wetter down this time of year and another application in the middle of summer will give your watering efforts the best return. Also with fine weather ahead, a spray of selective herbicide on the lawn this weekend will give you a great start to summer giving your lawn less competition for space a nutrient.
02.01.2022 Now is the time to start thinking about organising aeration for your lawn in order to really utilise the winter rains.
