23.01.2022 Pools Pools and more pools! Summer is well and truly here and its pool season for us! Here is a random selection of pool install's we've completed over the recent weeks. Most of the job involved transport and installation of each pool. Some pools we are only on site for the install and the pool was previously delivered on a Semi.... 22.01.2022 Sometimes even we have to leave the lifting for the big guns! 5x3.1m pool in Wynnum on its way over the top of a 2 Story building out to around 37m radius. Regal Crane Hire with their Liebherr LTM 1060 3.1 and fixed fly made it look easy. Long reach paired up with our winch made this job safe & easy for everybody: Plenty of space for the EWP and also enough clearance to the power lines for the EWP and our crane. We received a phone call on Sunday afternoon if we can get some extremely urgent crane parts to sydney by monday afternoon. No worries, Loaded up straight away and delivered by 2pm monday afternoon. 14.01.2022 Not quiet flat stick friday but still a good stretch today placing this 6x3m and 2m deep pool. Weighing in at just over 600kg plus rigging gear definitely not the lightest pool! Upon arrival the usual odd look on their face along with the comment "we expected a franna, can you even reach that far?" 10.01.2022 Few weeks ago we got an emergency call out to remove a damaged sign along the Logan Motorway, some of you might remember the traffic delays that caused Last night we went out onto the Logan again to install the replacement sign and also to lift out the vms trailer that took the place of the missing sign for the past few weeks. 06.01.2022 Nice challenge to finish up the week! This very special and delicate tree needed to relocate from Greenbank to its new home in Springfield Lakes. While the length and width, 4.5m X 4m, are not really a problem, the height of 4.1m including its pod would've definitely been a issue as it had to be transported standing up. Even by removing the pod it was still nearly 4m tall, adding up to a total transport height of 5.2m after loading it onto our tray.... By using a trailer we brought down the transport height to just under 4.6m, no permits or additional oversize escorts / line spotters required. 04.01.2022 On Friday we picked up 6x lighting tower trailers from the Sunshine Coast to be delivered to Crestmead. Our customer booked us in for 2x trips as he didnt expect for all 6 trailers to fit on the tray. 02.01.2022 Yesterday's Pool was definitely a challenge! At nearly 21meters of reach, over our cab and the customers garage, this was an impressive view. The truck is parked on a angle but by parking in line with the lift we avoided any side loading on the boom while reaching into the back yard. 02.01.2022 A short video a a few pictures of a sign replacement we completed a few weeks ago. The existing sign was only a few weeks old but had to be replaced again due to damaged to the sign. The winch came in very handy as it enabled us to rotate the new sign, which was delivered on its narrow side, without the hazard of tipping over and also avoided double handling....
