18.01.2022 WHAT IS MILD HYPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY! It is a fantastic oxygen therapy. It's been around for about 300 years. You know, when I talk about the fact that here in our clinic, we work physiologically, we want the skin and all of the physiological mechanisms of the skin to function again as they do when you were younger. Well, hyperbaric oxygen therapy is one of those modalities that helps the physiology of the body ramp itself back up again. So imagine you're in a hyperbaric ch...amber, it's big enough for two or three of most people. So it's much bigger than an MRI inside. And it's enclosed and it's pressurized with the air pressure. So it inflates, and it gets pressurized with air pressure and then when you're inside under that pressure, you have a mask on through which you're breathing pure oxygen. There is normal air in the chamber so you can breathe that air but that doesn’t benefit you even though you're under pressure. You want to be under pressure in the hyperbaric chamber and through the mask breathing pure oxygen. The combination of the pressure and the oxygen inside the chamber causes the oxygen to saturate in all of the fluids of your body. Now when all the cells of your body, every tissue, every organ from the tip of your brain to your big toe is saturated with oxygen, your tissues can go to a three phase healing. Number one, they will detoxify and in fact, the FDA has approved hyperbaric oxygen therapy or HBOT for all sorts of chemical detoxification. After the detox, your organs and your cells and your tissues can heal and then of course regenerates; so those three things. And depending on what kind of condition the patient might have, a series of hyperbaric oxygen therapies can actually be curative of major conditions. And in a long terms basis, doing hyperbaric oxygen therapy is one of the few proven longevity treatments that they have ever been and we recommend it highly. It's prevalent all over Europe, they have hyperbaric oxygen therapy centers in Europe like we have Starbucks over here, they're everywhere and as a part of a lifestyle, HBOT is a really healthy and worthwhile thing to do.
