22.01.2022 Tuesdays Tip! (Progressive Overload) Have you been doing the same old thing for way too long? As fitness professionals we often see people doing the same old routine week in week out and wondering when their results will come. When it comes to training, progressive overload is the key and crucial for results. This is the technical term given to explain the continual improvement or the increased load when training. Progressive overload is achieved by increasing the load throug...h increased weights, speed, distance, reps, complexity or/and decreasing rest time or completion time it takes to compete a specific exercise. We all know that exercise no matter what is great for us, but after the initial adaption phase when our body is now stronger, fitter and faster, the exercise will become less challenging and therefor will not stimulate us in the way it first did. This is when we need to up the ante and enjoy the progress along with the benefits that come with it. See more

04.01.2022 I'd just like to say well done to my PT client Jenny! She's lost 4kg, 6cm off her waist and doubled her push ups score amongst many other improvements by exercising most days of the week including one PT session, 2 group classes, cutting out alcohol (most of the time) and eating healthy. Keep up the hard work!
