25.01.2022 "Immigration agent / immigration lawyer: Seeking advice for our stranded international seasonal workers and international university students with bridging visa options. Many of our seasonal workers are facing expired visas while they're waiting for international borders to open, and exorbitant fees to reapply for visas to remain here. If there is anyone in our community willing to assist with updated visa and immigration advice and assist with consulate communications, we need your help".

20.01.2022 We have two people in need of urgent dental work. One is a crown the other impacted wisdom tooth. If anyone wanted to help out with a donation here are the account details. It’s tax deductible. If you message me that you’ve donated and put your name in the reference section when depositing we will know it’s for dental work. I’m sorry I don’t know the cost until Tuesday so have no real goal amount at this stage. 08.01.2022 Nico, a 31 year old Argentinian, and his 29 year old Polish girlfriend Magdalena, arrived in Australia in November 2019, to work in Lorne during our busy tourist season. When Covid-19 hit our shores, imposing shutdowns in campgrounds and businesses, forcing them out of accomodation and work. Their Australian working holiday rapidly deteriorated. They have navigated their way through two other regions of Victoria, attempting to secure accomodation and work, but on both occasi...ons were met with immoral work prospects and unreasonable living conditions. Nico & Mags, after 3 months of insecurity and further hardship, are now finally in the comfort of a home in Torquay, where they are receiving, and deservedly so - the true hospitality of Australians. As a family, we feel so fortunate to have the company of two amazing young people, both from countries we hope to one day visit. Our offer of a bedroom, a bathroom, food, warmth, comfort, safety and friendship is little in comparison for what we have already received in return. Within a week, we feel part of an extended family in Argentina and Poland, our children have felt the positive impact of human kindness, and no matter how different the countries, how strange the languages, or varying ways of life, there is never a time to ignore the suffering of others. Mags and Nico are booked on flights to Frankfurt in 2 weeks, when international borders open, and already we know, we will miss them! 02.01.2022 Hi everyone. Thanks so much for liking the page and offering to host travelling guests during this COVID19 shut down. Quick update. We now have two amazing young people, both are travellers, working out host forms to put up here as an attachment. Stay tuned as we compile questions that try to make great host/guest matches.
