19.01.2022 As part of our Remembrance Day ceremony students Ebony Aumua and Ruby-Belle Stingemore performed Travellin’ Soldier by The Chicks with Mrs Best (guitar) and Ms Andrew (saxophone). Students showed outstanding commitment, musicality, and excellence in their performance.

11.01.2022 Student Harry Franks performed a poignant and musical rendition of the Last Post on electric guitar at Cobar High School’s Remembrance Day ceremony.

10.01.2022 Today we commemorated Remembrance Day at Cobar High School. Thank you to our guest speaker Army Veteran and Cobar RSL Sub-Branch President Kain Neale. Well done to all students that read poems, performed songs and to the Army Cadets. All students involved did an amazing job and are to be commended for their hard work. Thank you to all students spectating they displayed CHS PB4L values and were very respectful on this significant day. Krysti Neale

05.01.2022 We were fortunate to have the Sydney Batyr Team visiting this week. Years 9,10 & 12 participated in the programs. We all enjoyed Snow cones at Recess on Wednesday to celebrate their visit! A huge thanks to Cobar Pool for donating the syrups & the visiting Nurses team for helping to serve the snow cones! A massive THANK YOU to our Sydney Batyr Team for coming all the way to Cobar to deliver valuable programs around positive Mental Health!

03.01.2022 Last week Cobar High School was fortunate to welcome former NRL player Solomon Haumono and members of the Impact Fitness Group visit our school. They spoke to students about fitness, diet and goal-setting as well as holding a practical session. Thank you Stephen Gillette from Cobar's Generocity Church for organising their visit to Cobar High.
