22.01.2022 PLEASE SHARE TO ALL FIRE AFFECTED There will be a Hay Drop Saturday 12th September with a trailer at a farm depot 98 Yankees Gap Rd Bemboka from 9am and the truck at Cobargo Showgrounds at 9am These are all small Rye Grass Bales The hay will he shared out according to stock numbers as per all other hay drops If you don’t manage to get some in this drop we will he doing more (hopefully over the next few weekends)... 15.01.2022 Christmas in July Hay Run. Cobargo July 25th. The stock are cold and hungry. The farmers are still in intense drought and dealing with the aftermath of devast...ating fires. Fire recovery has been delayed because of the Corona Virus. We’ll be doing what we can to help make a difference and let them know that we care. Trucks are loading this time on Thursday July 23 and early on the Friday then we will leave for Cobargo, arriving in time for deliveries on Saturday the 25th. 14.01.2022 There’s one person who I didn’t mention on the thank yous but he really needs a special thank you Dave Allen you have done so much for this community that no one will ever know From that first day of January and still going Feeding and housing people who lost everything to getting the fund up and running then having the Parramatta Eels come onboard with helping out So much people don’t know about what he does and how he helps out and can throw a bale or three... 13.01.2022 The Parramatta Leagues and Football Club have been great supporters of Cobargo since the fires, and we are proud to be able to stock Jacks Pale Ale, the only pl...ace outside Parra Leagues it can be purchased. Similar to the Club's fundraising, we will be donating $1 from every can sold on premise for the rest of the year to the Cobargo and District Emergency Hay Fund. It's a great drop, and also available to takeaway! See more

I wanted to share this great moment so we can all take heart that the recovery, whilst taking time, is starting to help people get back on track.

07.01.2022 Hi All We will be helping with the on farm distribution of large bales of hay this Saturday 5th December coming from Need for Feed Disaster Relief We will be then having a BBQ from 6pm at the Showgrounds so all are welcome to come along for a yarn with the team ... Cobargo Hay Fund will at this stage be holding off on doing a small bale run till next year as we will be receiving another donation in the New Year and we will purchase a larger quantity Thanks Ange

05.01.2022 Need for Feed Disaster Relief would like to do a Hay Run on the 5th of December This will probably be the last one so with that we are looking to hold a BBQ get together at the Cobargo Showgrounds to celebrate farmers big and small As per every run there is a application to fill out which takes about 5 minutes This hay is for Fire Affected and Drought Affected This will be a Christmas Hay Run so the team will have lots of goodies for families onboard ... https://www.needforfeed.org/apply-for-assistance.html The Cobargo and District Emergency Hay account will be using what is left in the account to purchase small bales ( it will be about a semi) We recently received a donation from Parramatta Eels to help with some more hay
05.01.2022 So I have secured loads of hay for the next few weekends A B Double Load with one trailer being left in Bemboka and the other in Cobargo (all going to plan) for this Saturday distribution This will be all small bales There is no registration as these bales are purchased from the donated money in the Hay Fund account It will be for all fire affected...
