21.01.2022 Thanks to the generous support of Nilfisk and the RFSA we received a Gerni ATTIX 33M industrial-grade wet and dry, dust extraction vacuum cleaner. This will be put to good use in the cleaning and up-keep of our Fire Trucks and our Station. Thankyou Nilfisk and the RFSA.

16.01.2022 Good rains, good growth. The recent wet weather continues to provide ideal growing conditions for grass lands, particularly west of the divide. High fuel loads ...are being recorded in the Riverina, Dubbo, Forbes, Inverell and Coonabarabran areas. This may prove problematic in the coming months. See more

09.01.2022 If there is a fire in or around Cobar you will find its alert level on the NSW RFS website, on the radio and in the ‘Fires Near Me’ app. What will be your sign for putting your fire plan into action?

08.01.2022 Just a reminder this weekend to move your clocks 1 hour Forward 4th October 2020, 2:00 am When house fires start, only working smoke alarms provide the critical early warning needed to save lives and minimise property damage so please take the time to replace your smoke alarm batteries.

08.01.2022 Station opening today at 2pm! Hope to see you all there!

04.01.2022 FACT: There will never be as many fire trucks as there are houses. Do not depend on a fire truck being available at your home. But if you and your home are well prepared, you stand a better chance of surviving a bush fire. There are simple things you can do around your home to prepare it for a bush fire, like keeping the grass low and having a cleared area around your home. Learn more and get ready at www.rfs.nsw.gov.au/plan-and-prepare #getreadyweekend #nswrfs

01.01.2022 This App should be on everyone's phone!!!! When anxiety, panic, urgency, distress, emotions, frustration, hysteria, fear, alarm, shock and stupefaction set in as you dial Triple Zero (000) will you get the details right? Do you know your address? Do you know the nearest cross street? Landmark? When people are in a fluster and call Triple Zero you would be surprised how much we forget. Make sure you install the #Emergency+ and use it if you need #TripleZero
