24.01.2022 ReOpening in New South Wales Yesterday, the NSW Government announced that organised outdoor community sport can have up to 3,000 people from Monday 7 December. Up until that point we had been in the process of applying for exemptions for all NSW parkruns that were likely to exceed 500 participants (the current limit). Thankfully, this latest announcement paves the way for all 93 parkruns in NSW to reopen under our COVID-19 Framework. We can therefore confirm that parkrun... events in New South Wales can choose to reopen from any of the following dates: 19 December 2020 25 December 2020 26 December 2020 1 January 2021 2 January 2021 9 January 2021 It is our intention that all events in NSW, where possible, will be open by 9 January 2021. Before COBAR Parkrun can commit to our reopening day we need to rebuild our team; If you are willing and able to assist please let us know. We need; *Event Manager *Run Directors *Volunteers Please comment below if you are interested in joining a rotating roster as a RD or volunteer. 16.01.2022 To get Cobar Parkrun back up and running we need a whole new event team! We are looking for someone to take the reigns and be our Event Director and then a team of Run Directors. This doesn’t mean you are locked in every week, we do up a roster and depending on the number of RDs you might only have to do it every 6 weeks, the rest of the time you can work on that Pb For more information please message us.

02.01.2022 Parkrun Cancelled Sat 13th Feb - Unfortunately Parkrun is cancelled for another week. The track has been deemed unsafe with numerous puddles of water and the mud is slippery. We apologise, but can not take the risk.
