The new restrictions that the government have implemented on cafes and restaurants have had a disastrous impact on our wonderful customers and in turn our business. We have had to refocus our energies to ensure our business remains viable and we can cont...inue to employ our team through to the other side. We will POP UP every day going forward from 7am (until sold out) at our bakery at 155 Hyde Street, Yarraville. 21.01.2022 This week has been BIG. We have relocated our entire bakery to a new premises and we couldn’t be happier! Over Monday and Tuesday this week our entire team helped pack and move every single utensil, every piece of equipment (ranging from the petite bench-top mixers to our 1200kg deck oven), not to mention all the shelving units, benchtops and office set up. It was a huge effort and we managed to complete it almost overnight with no disruption to our production schedule - no... mean feat! The new venue will give us: More space Room to grow Safer workplace BONUS: Still in Yarraville We are super proud of our team for so seamlessly adjusting to the new space and we can’t wait to settle in and make it ours. 19.01.2022 In early July, we relocated our bakery to a wonderful new space in Yarraville. Despite being the middle of a pandemic, the opportunity was too good to pass up. It was three times the size of our previous premises which meant our team could work more comfortably and efficiently. It also had space for a little shop front which was a welcome new addition! Part of our ‘pandemic pivot’ was offering retail bread and pastries from a make-shift marquee set up so we were thrilled to ...have the room to create something more permanent to showcase our products. Fast forward two months and we are excited to reveal our new little community bakery! We are open 7am -12pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday for all your baked goods needs. When the first lockdown hit in March, our wholesale business almost completely disappeared overnight. We set up an online retail store and pop-up shop to boost sales in an effort to keep our doors open and our team in work. ... We were overwhelmed with support from our amazing local community, those of you who incorporated a visit to us on their daily walk and all those who placed orders for home delivery for daily supplies and sent care packages to loved ones. Easter, Mother’s Day, International Doughnut Day and Father’s Day were some of the lockdown highlights and we loved bringing a little bit of joy to your doorsteps. Thanks to the local love, our pop-up shop has now evolved into a permanent shopfront. The doors are open every Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 7am 12pm for all the baked goods your heart could desire.
