17.01.2022 Ok, so it has come to my attention that a person approach my daughter this morning, in regards to why he never received his newspaper, out the front of my home none the less. Now Im a pretty straight forward type of person, but when people start to come to my home, because you havent received a stupid newspaper, that is just disrespectful, rude an wrong. I took on the newspapers, after The Kapunda News Agency shut their doors, as I believed that I was doing the right thing ...by this community, I defended the aforementioned business also because people were abusing them for shutting an trying to press me for information. I had know I dear why an told you all, it was none of my business. I also coped abuse from citizens in this town because I did things differently than the aforementioned did. Now I dont care who you are, what you believe your entitled to, what your position within this town is, if you approach any of my staff an want to know why you didnt receive your papers, just dont. 16.01.2022 Hello all, I write this to inform you all, that as of Friday 12/06/20, the doors of the retail shop of Haymans Cobbler Variety & Cleaning Services will be shut for good. Due to my medical situation, an the fact I have taken enough abuse from certain customers , I have decided to shut my doors. I again affirm that our cleaning service will remain operating as per usual an Tracy can still be contacted on her mobile, via messenger or emailing [email protected] All trophie...s, watch stuff an engraving orders will be able to be picked up from my home, by appointment after Friday. So everything must go. All reasonable offers will be considered, but I will not be giving it away. I will be doing the home delivery of Newspapers for the next 90 days, in which time I will be looking for someone to buy the run from me or it will be handed back to The Advertiser an only people with subscription will receive home delivery. 11.01.2022 I personally just wanted to thank everyone who has supported us in the past. We have really appreciate it. Wether it was just getting a key cut. Or just coming in to say hi. We also thank everyones wishes for Scott with his health. We are shutting our doors at the shop in the main street, but thats not the end for us.... We will be continuing to do our cleaning services and Scott will do key cutting, trophies, engraving, (drop off point for dry cleaning from home). So when we do close shop doors. Please be assured that people who have home deliveries of newspapers, that you will still receive your deliveries, an that our cleaning services remain the same. The store open times are now... Open Monday 10am - 3pm Tuesday CLOSED Wednesday. 10am - 3pm Thursday. 10am - 3pm Friday. 10am - 3pm Saturday. Closed Sunday an Public Holiday Closed. 04.01.2022 Hi Kapunda People, I write this with a heavy heart. As of July 17th Haymans Cobbler Variety and Cleaning Services will be shutting our doors, due to my health issues an the Covid-19 pandemic. The cleaning services will be still operating as per usual an we will be still taking on any work that the community needs. I will be still doing key cutting, computer engraving, trophies, minor watch repairs an battery replacement, an some minor shoe repairs, from my home on South Tce... As for the newspapers, I will be hopefully selling the run to someone in the town. If I cant sell the run by the time It is time for us to move, I will keep doing distribution/home delivery until I, or Newscorp are able to find someone. From Monday 18th May all stock in the shop, except for ammunition, will be sold at cost price. We are also selling display cabinets and wall display boards. As for any rumours that may be going around the town on why we are taking this action, it is due to my health issues an nothing more. 03.01.2022 Hello everyone As most of you already know, due to my health situation an Covid 19 pandemic, I have had to call time in the shop. But I will still be operating in a smaller version from my home premises. But to make the transition easier I unfortunately have to sell off my stock, cabinets, wall fixtures, photo copier some of my work benches an a shoe finisher (which works beautifully, just needs sanding pads put on, which I have ample supply.).
