19.01.2022 Firstly, Thankyou to all the top up players who helped us out last week, and also to a few of the lady members who have decided to be available for Saturday pennant throughout the course of the season. Much appreciated. The cockatoos didn’t get off to a great start, with all 3 divisions having to travel away and all recorded a loss. Let’s hope we can all bounce back this week. 15.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE: We’re back! The circuit breaker seems to have done the trick for now, so all scheduled bowls can re-commence from tomorrow (Thursday 18th). Th...at means for those in Metro Melbourne, Thursday pennant is back on tomorrow, and weekend pennant is back for all of Victoria on Saturday. Masks are not required for bowls so long as 1.5m physical distancing is maintained. However, The Premier has specified masks are required indoors unless eating/drinking, so please ensure you carry one with you at all time. All other rules around density quotas, hospitality guidelines, etc, revert back to what they were 5 days ago. Clubs must maintain their COVID-safe plans, ensure sanitiser is readily available both indoors and outdoors, and remember to refrain from shaking hands/hi-fives, etc. Stay safe. Look after your mates.

06.01.2022 AGM 11am Sunday 25th October 2020 Dear member(s), COVID -19 restrictions meant that our AGM did not happen at the usual time in May. As the club is an Incorporated Association we are obliged to submit a financial report to the Victorian government, and we need to have this completed by the end of October 2020. The time has come when we really cannot postpone our AGM any further. It does not seem likely that restrictions will be relaxed for regional Victoria for another two we...eks, so we have to allow for the meeting to be held outdoors. (this will probably happen around the BBQ area) This could be awkward and uncomfortable, but if restrictions are eased the meeting can be moved inside. The whole year has been turned upside down by the virus, and this year’s AGM will be a much shorter version than usual. There are really only three matters that must be addressed: 1. Presentation of the club annual Financial Report. (a legal requirement) 2. Saturday Selection Committee. 3. Mid-Week Selection Committee. All other committees and sub-committees can carry over from last year. If any committee is short of numbers they can approach other club members to help out. Other matters may be raised on the day.
