25.01.2022 WATERCOLOUR Plein air Fishing boats moored behind a Stilted Village house in Kompong Phlluk on the Tonle Sap Lake near Angkor Temples. Painted plein air from t...he back of the building. The lake was quite high last year 2019 and the group of painters did a great job with difficult subjects, difficult in that there is a lot of detail to contend with. Our feature artist, Craig Penny mentored us and we all gained a lot from his approach to panting these scenes. We have a Luxury Artists Painting Holiday to Angkor Temples 19-28 October 2020 for a small group fully guided. Staying in a Urban Riverside Resort very close to the town centre. 21.01.2022 A message from Karyn re ART FEST 2020. Good Afternoon Everyone I hope you are all keeping safe and well in these trying times Just to update you on where we are... at the moment Art Fest 2020 is still planned to go ahead Unfortunately we can only plan and hope All the venues have been booked for 19th and 20th September with access and set up on Friday 18th We have been given the OK to use the sales venue if it is still available. At the time of discussions only half the store would be available with the sports store expanding but this may now have changed I did look at a few other options but even half of the Dimmeys store is the largest We also have the option of using it for a longer time. Maybe from 1st Sept to 30th Sept give or take We would need to have a roster with two people on duty each day and even schedule some advertised artist demos Our pop up ones last year created alot of interest and we ended up having 33 artists display and lots of sales This is all still dependent on restrictions people being able to travel around We have considered pushing Art Fest back to end of March 2021 but no one knows what will be happening then with cricket, footy etc It all becomes very hard I have not arranged any printing but will organise some general postcards. please forward me your mailing address and i will send some through when available This year we thought of offering a few full day workshops as well as our 3-4 hour taster workshops. This is to cater to those that have been each year and looking to expand to bigger projects or more advanced students Please think about what we /you can do and let me know your thoughts and ideas Hopefully everything works out well and we all get to be out and about soon Cheers Karyn

02.01.2022 "The Maker’s Yearbook has helped me so much. Before, my business was disorganised and I was always earning the same amount yearly (a small amount). I knew I ne...eded to make changes. This was my second year of using the Maker’s Yearbook and the good habits I’ve learnt are now embedded. It’s changed my working life for the better. I am more confident about valuing what I do, about setting boundaries and I know how to set a goal and go about reaching it." ~ Kristin Rawcliffe
