This is a positive message that aims to engage us all in conversations about ‘respect’ what r...espect means to us, what respect looks like and how to put respect into practice, especially in the context of gender equality. The campaign encourages people to ‘call it out’ when they witness disrespect, sexism, harassment and abusive behaviours drivers that can lead to violence against women. #16daysofactivism #respectis #callitout See more

14.01.2022 Today is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women - and the first day of the 16 Days of Activism. Violence against women is the resul...t of longstanding inequalities and disrespectful attitudes towards women in every day life. Sometimes it's overt. But more times than not, it's so subtle or ingrained, we do it ourselves without even questioning it. Over the next 16 days, in our Facebook and Instagram stories, we'll be sharing 16 ways each of us can do our bit to move attitudes forward in our communities, with a series of graphics developed by Women's Health in the North. Please share them! #16DaysOfActivism
