25.01.2022 Spotted Gum flooring in this 11th floor Penthouse in Melbourne CBD is finished on time and on budget ready for the new owners to paint and move in before Christmas as planned. Excellent work by Matt De Giorgio and Jordan. Product is; Premium Floors,... Matt Brushed Finish Spotted Gum engineered flooring, laid on 15mm structural ply and trowel glued with Acouslime 4 in 1 adhesive. All skirting boards were removed and refitted over the top of the new flooring. 13 internal doors had to be removed trimmed and rehung with all robes having to be dismantled and reassembled as well. The front fire door has also been modified to suit the new flooring height by a specialist crew. This is one of the nicest flooring products on the market and comes from the oldest flooring company in the world ( Quick Step ) with their products sold world wide with great success for 150 years. . 22.01.2022 We removed 12.5 cubic meters of concrete out, leveling compound, 200 micron PVC moisture barrier, 19mm yellow tongue, 12mm ply, 14mm solid Rutic white Oak trowel glued and secret nailed and sand with 3 coats of clear polish. Unbelievable transformation to this beautiful home in Pascoe Vale South for one of the loveliest families Ive ever done work for in 42 years. We also laid 3 rooms of pure wool loop pile carpet and created perfect levels throughout the whole house. We are still to supply and install new skirting boards throughout the whole house as a finishing touch. Thanks to the whole team at CFC for your professionalism and Thanks Chris and Rachel for trusting us with this project.

04.01.2022 This is what 160m2 of 15mm ply looks like. 57 sheets. 1.5 ton worth and the lift will only take 5 sheets at a time. Installation has now started with 35 to 40 pilot holes to drill per sheet and 35 to 40 x 38mm split pins to hammer into the slab to hold it down. Boys have removed all of the skirting boards and the ply has started to go down. 2nd day and they have already put down 90m2.... On track to finish ahead of time. Thanks boys you are my A Team.
