24.01.2022 Welcome to race 2 of the 2020 PaddleNSW Harbour Series, The Pittwater Challenge, hosted by Manly Warringah Kayak Club. Race Briefing is at 8:00am. Long Course 14 km Short Course 10 km Paddler Check-in is available from 7:00am, and closes at 8:00am. Early Bird Entries close at midnight on Tuesday 10th March.. All entries close at midnight on Thursday 12th March On the Day Registration is not available The PaddleNSW Harbour Series has adopted the ICF policies for age classification. Ages are taken as at 31st December in the year of the event. The last year a Junior can enter an U18 (< 18) event is the year of their 18th birthday. An athlete can compete in a masters event in the year that they reach the lower limit of the age group. The age of the youngest paddler will determine the age category entered for Doubles entries. Important Safety Notice Paddlers should not attempt to carry their craft across Pittwater Road. A boat drop-off area is provided within Rowland Reserve. Lifejackets are required to be worn by ALL paddlers in this event. Leg Leashes are required for all Ski & SUP paddlers in this event. Open Water racing is open to a variety of craft from Ocean racing skis, SLSA Spec skis, outrigger canoes to sea kayaks and SUPs. Harbour racing is the sport of racing these craft in enclosed or protected waters. In the event of inclement weather, please refer to our website and Facebook pages. Note that the Entry Fee includes the Paddle Australia Single Event Licence (Limited Insurance) required if you are not a member of a Paddle Australia affiliated paddling organisation. Members of affiliated paddling organisations will not be charged for the Single Event Licence.

The postponed Brisbane Waters Open will be res...cheduled, and the date will be confirmed as soon as we receive permits. You can still join and win the series with best 5 of 7 races deciding the series winners. 01.01.2022 News about our PaddleNSW race in May the Iron Cockatoo part of the 2020 Harbour Series attached - unfortunately we need to cancel this race at this time. PNSW and the organising committee are looking at potential alternatives for later in the year once we get the all clear from the government.
