23.01.2022 A big shout out to Matt from Caravel Joinery. He didnt even look at me like I was mad when I called him 4 weeks ago and asked if he could custom make a kitchen for the clubrooms, and have it installed and ready by August 3rd. After so many years in that tiny shack, our new purpose built clubroom has those "nearly finished" feels with this awesome new kitchen! All ready to go for our Dressage Jackpot Weekend!

21.01.2022 Last week for entries for CDPC Jump Trials at Wandin Park on Jan 20th. Camping, shady yards, food vans, trade village, and XC and SJ courses by accredited EA course builders, with new XC jumps for all grades. All rounds captured by Trot Shots, and XC filmed by Rider Video. Great prizes and beautiful embroidered trophy rugs by Equus Rugs for winners of each section. 17.01.2022 Entries are filling for Cockatoo and District Dressage Jackpot weekend 3rd and 4th August. All tests on all weather sand arenas, yummy canteen, warm fire, cozy couches, coffee van, sashes to 6th place in every test, gorgeous made to measure Skye Park trophy rugs for Jackpot champions, and prizes for Reserve Champions. What more could you want from the perfect winter comp!

14.01.2022 Well Pony Club has been a bit quiet lately, what a strange new world we are living in! We are all missing rallies and getting out and about to events and seeing our friends, but hopefully we will be back to a new normal sometime soon! As most of you know, CDPC runs an annual Dressage Jackpot event on the first weekend in August each year. We are still planning this event in the hope that restrictions will be lifted and we will be able to go ahead. This year we will also be adding in the new PC Advanced and Grade 6 tests on top of our normal PC classes, as well as our Open sections as well. So put August 1st and 2nd in your calendar now, and lets keep our fingers crossed! Until then, stay well!

The good news is that we are currently planning our annual Jump Trials at the beautiful Wandin Park on January 17th 2021 Of course this is going to be wholly dependent upon COVID-19 restrictions, but watch this space as we are super keen to get you back out competing again! Be sure to put the date in your diary, tag your friends, and watch out for our entries opening on Event Secretary later in the year. Get in touch if you are a trader interested in being involved in our trade village too!

06.01.2022 Our lovely sponsor Essential Oils for Horses has been sending healing oils to owners of horses injured in the recent bushfires in Gippsland. Today we received a lovely note from Baxter who injured himself running through a fence while being evacuated not his finest moment (even he admits that!) but we all hope he heals soon.

Only a few floats at the grounds at any one time, so plenty of room for social distancing. Limited spots available!
