05.01.2022 I know this article is from 2018 but we absolutely love this story. Luke de Laeter's obsession with bees began when he was given a small hive for his 14th birthday. The avid teenage apiarist (beekeeper) has done amazing thing, working to educate young people all about bees and the important role they play in the world. As a high school student he began visiting schools, talking about the insects he loves, teaching kids all about bees, how they contribute to nature and what we can do to protect them. And the good news is that he is still going, his passion is now his profession and he gets to work as a commercial beekeeper while continuing to education others! https://www.abc.net.au//luke-the-bee-boy-leads-cr/10511238
