18.01.2022 Encanto is the name of the performance group at Casa Del Compás School of Spanish Dance. Encanto will be presenting several dances that celebrate the vibrancy and diversity of this unique art form at the World food and Music Festival on the 25th of March at the Cockburn Town Centre. Casa Del Compás, located in Bibra Lake specialises in Flamenco and is the only school in Perth with regular live guitar and singing accompaniment, which provides the students with a deeper understanding and appreciation of the music, as well as a truly authentic experience.

11.01.2022 Since 1994, The Polish Dance Group Kukueczka has captured the hearts and minds of Australian communities in presenting traditional Polish culture. Members of the group are proud to learn Polish folkloric song and dance, enriching audiences with new cultural experiences at the many performances across our great state and internationally. Under the direction of Kasia Schmidt and Melissa Lejman, Dancers work hard to broaden their knowledge and cheerfully radiate their motto of: Z yciem, z gosem, z sercem, Kukueczka! (With our lives, our voices, our hearts, Kukueczka!). So head head on down to the Cockburn Central Town Centre on the 25th of March 2017 for the World Food and Music festival to watch Kukueczka perform their dazzling display of Polish folkloric song and dance!

08.01.2022 The Cockburn Central Town Centre Association (CCTCA) Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on the 2nd of August, 7pm, at Majestic India (Cnr of Junction BLV & Linkage Ave) Individuals wishing to nominate themselves for committee positions or wish to have specific business included in the AGM must give notice by sending an email to [email protected] no later than the 5th of July. The main purpose of the AGM is that the CCTCA committee will be changing the constit...ution. The meeting agenda will be available ASAP.

02.01.2022 The Eireann dancers continue the longstanding art form of Irish step dancing, drawing from not only their traditional roots, but also Riverdance and other more modern influences. The dancers, aged from 8 years upwards, spend most of the year working hard to compete at local, State and National championships, in both solo and team events, but enjoy the chance to relax a bit and demonstrate their amazing control and fast footwork. They will be performing at The World Food and Music Festival on the 25th of March 2017
