25.01.2022 CSRQ are looking for some great photos of dogs that have been adopted out through us. Please email pictures through to [email protected] and see some tips and specs below for taking high resolution photos and with good lighting for our 2021 CSRQ Calendar. Outdoor and landscape photos are always a bonus for use in a printed calendar. The contrast of a coloured background really helps the image along with the sun being behind you when you take the photo. Also, in...stead of shooting your gorgeous spaniel head on, you could crouch lower and shoot up. Or you could find an elevated platform and shoot down. Further, you could move around the doggo and try shooting at different angles. Just avoid shooting directly into the sun. Our preference is that images are be supplied as JPEGs. Please remember though, for us to use your photo in print we need the image to be 300 dpi (dots per inch), or the JPEG being around 3.5 Megabytes (MB) in size. You can check the size of your image by going into its properties and finding the file size. Anything smaller than this is unfortunately not good for printing. Have fun and we cant wait to see your photos. Dudley below for inspiration.

21.01.2022 BUDDY ###This little soul came into care a little over a week ago we didn't post as he was so tiny and it was very raw#### Buddy came into care after his breeder realised he had a cleft palate at only a few days old and he would need tube feeding every 2 hour for the next 4 weeks. Our dedicated foster carer was up for the challenge and organising everything from heating pad, bottle warmers, thermometer and steriliser down to a cuddly toy with a heartbeat .... Little Buddy had the best chance of survival. Unfortunately he didnt make it ,this is the hard part of rescue.He was so loved and gone too soon Buddy left a lasting impression on his foster carer and she says it was a privilege to be his Mum even for such a short time. In cases like Mabels and many other spaniels that come into our care we become so disheartened with people but yesterday you all showed us how amazing people can be.We asked for help for Oscar and Ava and the donations came flooding through! 14.01.2022 A big warm welcome to Ava and Oscar both 9 years young. Unfortunately both have come into care in a sorry state in desperate need of a full clip due to terrible matting and also dental work.Oscar is about 5 kg under weight , you can see all his spine Yesterday Dr Jesse from Windaroo Veterinary Surgery Animal Hospital spent all day grooming and removing 10 teeth from Oscar and 14 from Ava! We will give them time to recover and fatten up before they are desexed and Oscars eyes fixed up. 08.01.2022 Tonight a very special Lady crosses over the rainbow bridge and left a hole in all of our hearts but especially her amazing family. Phoebe was one of CSRQ's very earliest rescues and has led a fairly gruesome life before being sold on the side of a road. She came into our care in 2014 and very quickly became a foster fail. Nobody was going to love her like her new family would. Over the years Phoebe was the greatest foster sibling one could ask for always willing to share her bed and snuggle with those who needed it. She was a timid but sweet loving girl and will be surely missed by all that knew her. Phoebe you are free now may you play and have all the beds you want to sleep in. This gorgeous Black and Tan girl is 4 and has come into care as an ex breeding dog she has taken a while to settle and has just starting to bond to her foster carer and fur siblings and we are starting to see her personality shine through.When she is ready we will be looking for a quiet home with someone home most of the time.

02.01.2022 CSRQ welcomed Charlie to the pack last month and we were lucky to find a great new home for him amongst the many applications we received for Chester. Charlie has been adopted and is now living his best life with his older fur brother and a couple of human ones too. CSRQ like many rescues are overwhelmed by great applications to adopt, so please dont be discouraged as we do go through recent applications sometimes and find just the right fit.
