12.01.2022 Hi all, just a reminder that it’s in times like this that we need to support our locally owned businesses. If you need booze don’t go to uncle dans, go to your ...local bottleshop or brewery. Don’t buy Overseas owned brands pretending to be Australian, ask for independent Australian products. If there is an option go to your local grocers or butchers instead of the big supermarkets. Plenty of local cafes and restaurants are offering takeaway or delivery options. Support them as best you can. This is really really important in times like this. Many local businesses will go to the wall if we don’t support them. That means families who have worked hard and made countless sacrifices over many years to provide local jobs and support local producers will no longer be a part of our community. I know everyone is going to feel the pinch and it’s tempting to try and save a few dollars where you can but if we don’t support local now the consequences will be felt in our local Communities for many many years to come. Our lives and the things we enjoy doing will need to adjust and change for the foreseeable future. One thing constant will be brewing Cockies Beer at Barrabool Hills Brewery in South Geelong. As a one-man, small batch brewery, I am able to keep supplying fresh, award-winning beer to local bottle shops in the region. Please support locally owned businesses and produce,we need your help.
