24.01.2022 So this is what I have been up to the last couple of days... Blue was dyed roving, green was dyed locks.

22.01.2022 Finally finished off a 'corner to corner' crochet blanket a week or so ago and have donated it to Wheelchair Blankets for Kids. Here's hoping that one of them will really enjoy the bright and lively colours! Happily finished spinning some roving of Wensleydale White Combed Tops found at a local op-shop last year. I'm planning on dyeing it then making a beanie or bag as it is not as soft as I would like to have against my skin...

21.01.2022 Merino nylon roving 70/30 from Dyeing 4 Ewe, ready to be washed then made into socks or gloves or... I'm not really sure yet!

12.01.2022 Another successful year at the Albany Agricultural Show, placing 3rd for my woven woollen blanket, the only piece I entered in weaving this year, and taking several places for my handspun yarns and 3rd for my crocheted tea cosy in handspun yarn.

08.01.2022 On 27th September I had the privilege of spinning with some friends from the Albany Spinners at the Albany Men's Shed Muster. I was using a folding travelling wheel which has been lent to me by a friend, is was made by Rod Doley, who is sadly now deceased. Lovely, quiet and easy single treddle wheel to spin on.
