23.01.2022 It’s time for another reuse post! Do you drink coffee or loose leaf tea? If you do, it’s time to reuse those coffee grounds or tea leaves. Coffee grounds are great as a homemade scrub (scroll down my posts to get my recipe), to deodorize your fridge (just put some on a small plate and put it on your fridge shelve) or as great fertilizer for your garden or plants, same with tea!. How do you reuse your coffee grounds or tea leaves? Share them below, I’d love to know more ideas!
21.01.2022 Reuse, reuse, reuse! Another reusing idea: Keep your old spices jars, they are great for any powders! Try to make your own dry shampoo and store it in a spice jar. You can also reuse them to keep baking soda in the kitchen and bathroom to clean surfaces, to store other spices when you buy them in bulk, and to sprinkle chocolate in your cappuccinos! Do you have any other ideas to reuse spice jars? Share them below!
19.01.2022 We recently bought this grow your own mushrooms box! We haven’t got any mushies yet, apparently they take a few weeks to grow, so we are just patiently waiting. We have been wanting to get into growing mushrooms for so long but never seemed to have the time. If this box works, we’ll definitely start experimenting on our own. Do you grow your own mushrooms? Share your tips below please!
14.01.2022 Here’s a quick easy idea to reuse glass jars. As a conscious consumer, I try to not buy plastic if there are other options, like bulk or other materials like glass. I choose to buy in glass because I always reuse my jars, and if I have too many, I take them to my local bulk store so someone else can use them. So, here is one way you can reuse them: create a plant propagation station! I love propagating photos, it is such an easy plant to grow. If you want to know how to propagate, scroll down to my recent post on how to propagate plants. You just need a plant, a glass jar and sissorts! Have fun!
12.01.2022 Yes, another reuse post! I know sometimes we are forced to use take away containers. There are some situations where the restaurant refuses your own containers (especially now with the covid restrictions) or even when you go to a restaurant and order too much and don't want to waste food so you end up getting take away. No judgement here! Don’t feel bad if occasionally you’ve walked home with one of these in your bag. Reuse it instead! They are great to store your next meals, left overs, and even other stuff like cables, tools, jewelry, underwear the options are endless! Any other ideas? Share them below!
