25.01.2022 Good Morning, as the weather cools down over the next week, remember we will have our hot coffees & hot chocolates ready.

25.01.2022 Were now open for sit down dining inside and outside, hooray! But we still need to follow some guidelines due to COVID-19: Customers must be seated at 1.5m away from each other, unless from the same household (you can show us on your licence). All customers must pay via EFTPOS.... Friday morning - 4:00pm Sunday: max. 40 customers seated at a time (20 inside & 20 outside). 4:00pm Sunday - Thursday night: max. 20 customers seated at a time. If you are unwell in any way, or have COVID-19 symptoms, please stay home. Call us to book on 4944 0357 to ensure we can seat you. Please be considerate of people that have bookings after you. When you arrive, you will need to complete a Customer Register Slip to sit down. This a Qld Government requirement and will be destroyed after 56 days. Your details will not be used by us in any way. Do you know this person, if so we would love to hear from you. Stealing the staff tip jar is a really low act. This footage will be taken to the police so I recommend you reimburse the staff sooner rather than later. Also if anyone comes across our genie tea pot in the city heart we would love to get it back....

We are making some changes which will start from this Saturday 16 May: - Our new weekend hours are 8:30am - 8:30pm (Saturday & Sunday).... - Our weekday hours continue to be 10:00am to 2:00pm and 5:30pm to 8:30pm (Monday - Friday). - We will be open for dine-in with max. 10 customers at a time, and we will be monitoring visits in line with COVID-19 restrictions. - Alcohol can only be served if you are having a meal. - We strongly recommend you book a table on 4944 0357 to ensure we can seat you. - Take aways and deliveries via Uber Eats and Menulog will continue. 05.01.2022 Christmas is coming and the year is nearly over. It’s time to reflect on the year that has been and look toward the future. Be thankful for what we have and give back when we can. This year our team at Coco Cubano Mackay will be donating all tips for the next six weeks to our annual Christmas Charity Drive. All donations will go towards gifts, clothes and toys for the Samaritan House. This is an incredibly important organization who run a women’s refuge here in Mackay. We a...sk you to come in, say hi and donate. Every dollar counts and will help make Christmas magical for the children and relieve some pressure on women who rely on Samaritan house. We will also collect any donations of toys, clothes and vouchers in store until December 20. Last year we managed to donate 11 Santa sacks full of food and goodies to another amazing charity, let top that this year and get to 15.
