I’m sure they have now made new friends and put a smile on their faces. Our Cubs when shopping to Coles and brought some food for our blessing box. ... 15.01.2022 WOW we won !!!!!! We are so humbled to receive the Sutherland Shire Local Business Awards for Outstanding Early Childhood Centre. We would love to thank and acknowledge all the other finalists and congratulate them on the amazing care they provide to children across the Shire each and everyday. We would also like to thank Cameille and Alan, for the beautiful centre they have created to provide high quality childcare in the shire. Of course none of this would be possible with...out our dedicated, inspirational team of early childhood educators. We would also like to thank our beautiful children and families. You guys are so supportive and encouraging of everything we do. Lastly I would like to thank our Cocoon community, our artist in residence, Cheryl, our amazing Auslan teacher, Sharon and our beautiful, nurturing team of volunteers . 04.01.2022 Yesterday our little helpers filled the trolley with lots of food and toiletries that were donated to our Blessing box. The donations made their way to Orana to help those in need. 02.01.2022 It is National Volunteer Week but due to the current climate unfortunately we cannot celebrate our beloved volunteers here at Cocoon. You may not be here but you are definitely not forgotten. The children have been talking about you and looking back at photos this week. We are so proud of our It takes a Village program and know it would not be possible without our very loving and generous volunteers.... So to Sarah, Garry, Margaret, Pauline, Jann and Sarah we thank you from the bottom of our hearts and cannot wait to have you back and give you the celebration you all so clearly deserve.
