22.01.2022 Today was one of ‘those days’. We where hosting a lovely work experience student and all set for a full day. ...then the power went out in the street. This means no internet, no desktops and dwindling power on other devices.... We made it work. Did some arty stuff and it was an excuse to illustrate abstract landscapes for no reason at all. I guess this is all part of the ‘experience’ of work. Some days are super productive. Lots of boxes ticked. Others you just draw some random mountains and wait for the kettle to be able to boil again

22.01.2022 The Australian Bushfire Building Conference 2020 is on! Many months in preparation. Many changes because of COVID restrictions. I can’t take much credit for this. We just made it look pretty. ... All credit goes to Agnes at Blue Mountains Events & Conferences with her super power organisation skills, PR work by the wonderful Mel at Dandelion Communications , and web + social by Steve at Well Optimised. You guys are awesome!

20.01.2022 A logo update doesn’t have to be vastly different to make a BIG impact. We designed the this new brand for Korowal School Strengthening the text, developing a new colour palette and refining the tree symbol.... We have also had lots of fun (literally) working on other beautiful brand elements. It’s such a satisfying process to work on a new brand, then bring it to life in documents, signage and online.

20.01.2022 I present to you ‘Christmas Together’ birds illustrated for Lower Mountains Anglican Parish. These birds represent ‘coming together’ whilst being aware of social distance. I also love how the birds reflect all our quirks and different personalities. ... Just come as you are! Some jobs are so much fun.

19.01.2022 Concept work for a client rebrand. A ‘rebrand’ doesn’t always mean you change your logo. Sometimes it’s about the other stuff you put around your logo - on your marketing material and website that makes a real difference. For this brand we played with ink, acrylic paint and paper to start to get a feel of where they wanted to go. ... We mostly work digitally to but love getting our hands dirty from time to time to get the look we are after. Exploration and play

16.01.2022 The new look Physiotherapy Evidence Database website has launched We started this project over a year ago. They had an existing website that was functional but old. It needed a complete facelift and moved into the mobile responsive world. This website is all about information. Easy to access, super fast and user friendly.... The website also comes in 13 languages (not all left to right) which added more complexity to the project. A massive shout out to our super developer, Mark Yarwood for your skill and the hours (day and night) spent on this project. Also to Anne and the team at the University of Sydney for your tireless work on inputting so much content. What an achievement to have this launched. We hope the website continues to provide the huge amount of resources and information for physiotherapists around the world.

11.01.2022 I was talking to a friend the other day about Christmas gifts. She was saying she wanted to donate her ‘secret Santa’ allocation to a worthwhile cause, but it’s hard to know who to give to. Well here is a good one.... It’s a new organisation called Hope Christian Homes and we have recently launched their new website.... In Australia, people with disabilities are no longer being placed in institutions, but the problem of where they actually do live has not been solved. Hope Christian Homes was formed to respond to this need. Hope Christian Homes purchases and manages homes for people with disabilities in which they will be safe, known, celebrated, and loved. Check out the website and donate if you can! I trust and respect the people running this and know that your money is going towards helping people with disabilities live well. www.hopechristianhomes.org.au

We re-organised the content, changed the colours, illustrated new icons and added new images. These changes have made a huge difference to the user experience and overall look of the site.
