21.01.2022 I started doing Radio taiso (radio exercise) every morning. It goes 7 minutes and it became my ritual nowadays. I thought it was uncool to do this for a long time because I had to do it all the time during my school days. It turns out it has a lot of cool benefits for my body. We are spending more time at home, what is your new ritual?

20.01.2022 Many of us have families and friends in overseas. Since travel ban was announced, it has been making me feel uneasy. I was able to visit my family in Japan anytime I wanted in the past. Japan suddenly feels terribly far away now. Yes, I can connect with them through technology. However, it doesn't seem to satisfy the uneasiness I have been feeling. I didn't feel homesick for Japan and my family when I first came to Australia almost 30 years ago. At the time, Skype and social... media were non-existant. After living in Australia for 30 years, strangely I feel a little homesick for Japan a very first time. Very strange indeed. I made Australia as my permanent home like many migrants did. Having said that I know now that Japan still is a place I consider my home. Time like this it brings very strange emotions. I had a love and hate relationship with Japan for a very long time.
