20.01.2022 For 20 years now the Ballarat based Mini Mona’s Choir has been giving children the joy of singing every week, because of COVID we have been doing what we do onl...ine via Zoom! The kids thought it might be nice to offer it to other children from all over the place whilst we are online. A chance for all to come to Ballarat without having to endure the weather! Each group sings a range of fun songs from all around the world perfect for their age, two sessions are Junior Group (Pink Choir), 4 to 8 years old, 4pm till 4:30, Cost $52.50 +gst (Usually 105 +gst) Older Group (Purple Choir), 8 to 14 years old, 4:30pm till 5:30pm, Cost$62.50 +gst (Usually $125 + gst) (1/2 price for the rest of this term) Every Monday (except school and public holidays) Fill out the form below if you are interested in joining in on the Monday fun. https://forms.gle/w2pwdQEZorvUAfw27

02.01.2022 Keeping connected while socially distancing is a challenge we are all facing. Young people and their families from acoss Ballarat, Horsham, Nhill and Ghana have... come together to produce 'Awa'- our intercultural choir project! The lyrics of 'Awa' (in the Fante dialect) translate to, "I'm excited to hug you". Very fitting for our current global situation! Supported by our project Musical Director Stella Savvy of CocoSounds, with members of CMY Ballarat/ Wimmera, video and sound production by Rex and Bella Hardware, and funded by Department of Premier and Cabinet.
