01.01.2022 Howdy to all who are showing interest in the seminar. I want to express how inportant it is to have some basic skills to enhance your chances of survival if confronted with a knife wielding lunatic. I did 14 years of Goju then after joining the military 26 years specifically on weapons so I have the credentials to comment as I have below. Today's society with the Youth's out of control and with a lot of them carrying knives these days it is only a matter of time before you ...are confronted by someone with a knife who either wants to harm you or rob you. This is a very controversial subject in the 'Martial Arts world', however most Martial Arts instructors fail to understand that this subject is NOT a Martial Art. Martial Arts does not cater for this type of training, Jujitsu does not cater for this type of training. They have their places in Martial Arts and for their own purposes are extremely efficient for sure, but not for this type of weapons training, and I have proven this against high level guys. What I teach is a simple system designed to give you the best chance of survival as there is nothing out there that is 100% fool proof against knives, however we train 'to improve our ability to survive'. I am quite happy to get together with any Martial Arts instructors who teach traditional knife defense and show them why their techniques will not work.....happy to do this for free so if there are any out there wanting to do some training and who are willing to learn something new then please get in touch. This is not a 'pissing competition' it is to pass on knowledge that you can pass onto your students. If you already train with a club and the instructor shows you 'knife defense' that grabs the hand with the knife to disarm them or they 'give up' one arm to make an entry (believe me they are out there) then you need to find someone else to train with for this field....they maybe fantastic in their other fields, howeverr if they teach the above they clearly do not have the concept of Edged Weapons.
