06.01.2022 In March the Coding Solutions team were engaged to help reduce the coding backlog at a tertiary hospital in the Northern Territory. In four months, the team - Kate Francis, Anne Pickard and Deirdre McDonagh - helped reduce the backlog of approximately 7000 admissions to a manageable number. Whilst the project was somewhat arduous at times, it was some of the most interesting coding weve experienced. Id highly recommend a stint in NT. I had the pleasure of working with this amazing and lovely group of clinical coders. We didnt say goodbye last week, only see you later.
