24.01.2022 Huge shout out to Jackson's Takeaway in Mackay! We visited there today and were pleasantly surprised with the gluten free menu and the fact that the owner is herself coeliac. She made a point of asking my other half if I was intolerant or CD and then presented me with THE BEST loaded fries and a huge tub of gravy. I had a fabulous lunch and I can't wait to go back to Mackay just so I can stop by again!

24.01.2022 ** Review ** Picked these up at Coles this morning and decided to give them a try for lunch. The skin is actually very nice. Little more 'gloopy' than a standard dim sum but still very pleasant. ... They don't hold their shape well after being microwaved (directions on back offer a microwave or steaming option) but the overall taste is very nice. Especially with some Fountain soy sauce. There is only 8 in a pack so the price point hurts a little bit, but to be honest, I would 100% buy these again... which is a good thing seeing as I have 3 more boxes in the freezer!

22.01.2022 #myrecipe Gluten Free bacon & mozzarella croquettes. . These were easy to make, and tasted delicious. Served with dill mashed potato, a boiled egg & side salad. My hungry family of 6 enjoyed tucking into these. . My recipe made enough for 6 for 2 nights, however while the second batch was cooling, our dog decided to sample and ate the entire second batch! ... . 18.01.2022 Today's baking: Gluten free lemon tarts and a HUGE hidden veggie bake. Certainly rustic but the flavour is there and 100% coeliac friendly (not that anyone else in the house would know!)

10.01.2022 #woolworths has released 2 types of bake at home sourdough breads - white and seeded. IMHO, both are terrible. It doesn't seem to make a difference whether you microwave it or oven it. Its dry, tough and lacking in flavour. 10.01.2022 Who am I? I'm Korryn and I'm the face behind CSA. I'm also the founding partner of Virtually Virtual, a boutique bookkeeping and business management firm and the Practice Business Manager at a local GP. I am also halfway through completing an MBA and intend to start law next November. I'm a married mum of 4, and relocated from suburban Melbourne to Blackwater QLD in December 2019. I was diagnosed with Coeliac Disease almost 6 years ago when I was 27 and since then have foun...d it difficult to locate restaurants or eateries that understand the importance of CD and the difference between CD and intolerance. There's lots of support in the form of groups and from Coeliac Australia, however finding information to teach how to convert recipes and locating local places to be able to eat is still an ongoing struggle, which is why I started CSA so I could share my knowledge as I went along. I'm always on the hunt for awesome places to try and new recipes to convert, so if you have a suggestion, please drop me a message! The CSA website is still under construction, where I will share my converted recipes and longer write ups - but that is a work in progress!
