25.01.2022 A Special Christmas Service Deacon Ralph and Father Rob are planning to drive to Coen on this Tuesday 1 December and will have the usual monthly Mass in the church on this coming Wednesday 2 December at 6.00 in the evening. All young people are welcome to come along and have some fun. For those who do not have any transportation getting to the Bend, please let Daveena at CRAC or Tahnee at the Kindergarten know so we don't forget you. Huge thanks to Dieticians Alesha and Katrina from Apunipima Cape York Health Council for their support and tracking. The health of our people is very important so we must take care of ourselves and our families by making healthier choices.... The second month challenge is now in full swing. Today the ladies had a chance to have their weight checked and talk to Apunipima Dieticians Alesha and Katrina about healthy eating and the importance of maintaining an active lifestyle. All women are welcome 10am every Wednesday. During the school holidays bring your children along as well, as we have lots of activities to keep them busy

06.01.2022 In support of White Ribbon Day! Our Coen Women’s Group gathered at the Wellbeing Centre for a Breakthrough for families Program session with Dwayne from Apunipima. Later followed by a fun eating cake event with everyone. ... Well done and fantastic effort by all!!! but there can only be one winning team in the ‘Cake Eating Competition.’ Congratulations to our CRAC reps; Lucretia, Sharni and Rose who between the three of them ate 30 cup cakes to put them in first place.

06.01.2022 Its not to late to enter our CRAC Garden Competition!!! You have until 1st October to be in the winning for some fantastic outdoor prizes for your home. Congratulations to the 10 homeowners who have already signed up for the Competition. Good Luck. Judging will take place on the 8th October, 2020 by (3) anonymous judges with a home inspection in the morning from 9-10am. The WINNERS will be announced over a provided BBQ lunch at the CRAC Community Centre. All are invited to attend.

05.01.2022 Halloween is approaching us fast. Our staff are busy organising a fun event for all to participate on the night. Please see invitation attached below. The Coen Community are invited to come along and join us for a spooktacular time. Lucretia and Daveena will be in touch with everyone about hosting a trick or treat station at your workplace or home resident. This is so a map can be created and given out to the participating children on the night. There will be a 'Zombie Fash...ion "cat walk" Parade' for all ages and a BBQ on the night hosted by the Women's Group at the Centre. If you would like to be in the running for the Best Halloween Costume on the cat walk in the 'Zombie Fashion Parade' please speak to Lucretia to register you name and costume for the judging. There will be cash and prizes for each category: Men//Women//14 -18 teenager/13-8 year old, and 7-kindy kids. See more
