12.01.2022 Just a friendly reminder to everyone that Cars and Coffee Blackwood has been postponed this weekend due to the October long weekend. As mentioned in previous posts, if you have friends and family who normally attend who aren't on Facebook can you please remind them. Ladies and gentlemen, this Sunday December 6th from 7:00AM-9:00AM To keep this event going, this Cars and Coffee a few things will be changing to appease SAPOL and to keep within the COVID restrictions.... There will be entry only from Coromanlde Parade side and the exit will be blocked off as per SAPOL request. No one is to obstruct traffic by blocking the 'turn around lane' by Coromanlde Parade side. There will be uniformed COVID Marshalls present to help maintain social distancing. Don't drive like a doodle. That's all guys... Let's go! See you all there with wheels gleaming.

08.01.2022 Just a small public service announcement - Unfortunately next weeks Cars and Coffee will not be going ahead as planned. There are a couple of reasons for this and so that none of you are left guessing I thought it would be best to inform you all as to why. As many of you may have witnessed at October's event, we attracted the attention of the boys in blue. Cars and Coffee Blackwood is an open and free event, and we all have nothing to hide. We welcome everyone and often hav...e the Police stroll through. This time was a little different as the reason for them attending was after a complaint of hooning in the back streets and to do a Covid Compliance check. After having positive discussions with a SAPOL officer and setting some clear expectations, we have concluded that we will be unable to run the event in November. There are some new measures that need to put in place and we simply need more time to put these together. Rest assured, these new measures will ensure that not only the event continues but will do so in a safe manner for everyone. It was clear after meeting with SAPOL that they are there to work with us, not against us. Thank you to everyone for your understanding and we will hopefully see you all in early December.

05.01.2022 Sundays event was another great turn out. From supercars to supervans and everything in-between. There will be more photos to come shortly, some from us and many more from people much more talented. Thanks to everyone who attended and to the coffee shops who helped generate such good atmosphere. 04.01.2022 Todays event looks to be another big one. Great weather and hopefully another great turn out. Thanks again to the 3 Cafes - Lennox Ave, Montagna's and Bracegirdles for being open early to help caffeine us all up ready for the day we! As per normal we have a couple of things worth mentioning - 1. There is a COVID Safe Plan in place for this event and it was issued on 5/9/2020 2. There will be mutiple signs dotted around the car park reminding people of the 1.5m social distanc...ing guidelines. 3. If you have any COVID 19 symptoms, please stay at home. 4. If you have been tested for COVID 19 and have not yet received your results, please stay at home. 5.
