02.01.2022 Koala newborn and mum in the casuarina tree above Coffee in Cylinder’s. The wildlife in this green zone is exceptional and I ask our customers who are dog lovers please be wildlife lovers as well. Dogs are not permitted anywhere in the Cylinder’s beach. Green zone. RCC by laws have been flexible providing the pets are not in the park or on the beach under control and on a leash at all times. The Casuarina is not a typical koala tree but it’s spring and the branch ends are laden with flowers and Mum koala has been feasting.
