Gardenville celebrates our ongoing endeavours to supply the community organic vegetables and herbs and help celebrate recycling and a sense of community especially through these restricted times. We invite all kids and big kids alike to help fill up our windows with their own piece of art!

13.01.2022 October is Mental Health Month Coffee on Kareela is supporting this cause in a number of ways: - Promoting events on the Mental Health Foundation of Australia’s Calendar. Details of events most days in October are available from the cafe, and at https://www.mhfa.org.au//01%20-%20NEW%20-%20NMHM%20Calenda - Supporting Melissa Young’s Reach Out Initiative, raising funds to address Youth Suicide as she undertakes 930 minutes of intentional activity in the month - ie at leas...t 30 minutes each day. - Having Beyond Blue wrist bands and fridge magnets available from the cafe Food is a big contributing factor in our overall well-being ("manage your mood with food"). In October we will be highlighting some of the foods that help improve our brain function and mood. For example, we will have a blueberry smoothie on our menu for $6. Our Hospitality Sunday menu will also incorporate some of these healthy food options. Hospitality Sunday on October 18 from 11am to 1.30pm $10 take away special - 2 fish cakes, rainbow slaw, berry dessert and a drink.
