22.01.2022 As the popularity of Cold Coffee continues to rise around the world many speciality roasters are looking for the edge in the cold coffee market! We recently caught up with Nolan of @proudmarycoffee and discussed their switch from traditional cold brew methods to the newer ‘Snapchill’ or ‘Flashbrewed’ methods for their Nitro systems. The main benefit of this switch being a more delicate and complex brew that arises from brewing the coffee hot and cooling it down quite rapidly...; compared to traditional cold brew which has significantly less acidity and bitterness. Will Snapchill (Or Flashbrew) methods become the norm? Or will this be a passing fad with traditional methods reigning supreme? Let us know in the comments below!

In this most recent article from Dr Monika Fekete she explores the potential for it to be used to remove bitterness from coffee. Check it out through the link in our bio or in the June edition of @beanscenemag
