25.01.2022 Coffey Testing are proud to announce that we have recently been awarded the METRONET Geotechnical Testing Contract by NEWest Alliance for both the Yanchep Rail Extension and Thornlie-Cockburn Link sections of the Perth METRONET Program. The Thornlie-Cockburn Link will be Perth’s first east-west cross line connection, and the Yanchep Rail Extension will deliver the last proposed section of the Joondalup Line from Butler, 14.5km north to Yanchep. Coffey Testing will be provid...ing field and laboratory testing of bulk earthworks, and Deep Soil Mix (DSM) trials. We are excited to work closely with all project stakeholders to help successfully deliver a major piece of transport infrastructure for the Perth Region. 25.01.2022 The Coffey Testing Leadership Team came together in Brisbane last week to review and plan strategic directions for the business as well as discuss achievements and opportunities. The Team visited our Brisbane Laboratory where Laboratory Manager, Royce Smith, Technical Manager, Joe Langley, and Senior Technician, Jorge Arango, conducted site tours within their areas of expertise. He is a highly experienced field technician who is renowned for his excellent client relations. Mohamed’s career highlights have been working on large projects such as Camden Valley Way, Sydney Light Rail, McConnell Dowell Jane Street, and Rozelle Interchange. His favourite parts about working at Coffey Tes...ting are the colleagues he works with and having the opportunity to work on site. 06.01.2022 10 Y.O.S // Thank you and congratulations to our Adelaide Laboratory Manager, Stephen Pender for reaching 10 years of service at Coffey Testing! Stephen began his career with Coffey Testing in 2011 after arriving in Adelaide from Ireland. Coming from a similar industry in Ireland, Stephen began with Coffey Testing as a Technician and worked on many of Western Australia’s largest infrastructure projects. In 2016, Stephen settled back down in Adelaide where he started in his cu...rrent position of Adelaide Laboratory Manager. Stephen’s career highlights are the project experiences he had in WA, the people he has met throughout his time at Coffey Testing, and being a part of a great team. Stephen’s favourite thing about Coffey Testing is the people and he states that 10 years have flown by and I am looking forward to the next 10!
