16.01.2022 A couple of our wonderful violinists are moving away next year. We would love more string players (particularly violinists) to join our orchestra. We are a community orchestra and love players of all ages and can write simpler parts if required by new players. We play a mix of classical, jazz, movie and TV themes, Broadway musicals etc. Message us or come along to a rehearsal at the Seventh Day Adventist Hall 1 Valley St Coffs Harbour 7-9pm Thursdays.

07.01.2022 very exciting news...the Orchestra is about to make some YouTube recordings. We hope to post a link Soon... Live performance locations still difficult To find ...for a COVID safe concert....no large entertainment venues here, clubs have other limits, a 40 piece orchestra leaves little room for audience under current restrictions In our local halls and outdoor events Are limited to 20 unless at major show ground type venues, food markets Or involving ticketed sports events... tHinking the Orchestra rugby Team might hold a ticketed sports event. They willplay the competition...team called Beethoven ....in fact Beethoven will play it super COVID safe by not turning up in person But sending their side in written form to be played! See more
