25.01.2022 Got to work this morning to find someone had dumped bags of mixed plastic over our gates.. We would like to remind everyone that we can not accept mixed plastics at the moment, these can be taken to coles and put in the bins at the registers. Please pass the word around so everyone gets this message.

24.01.2022 Thank you, Coffs Harbour Paper and Oil. Our household has drastically reduced its waste by using your soft plastics bins. it is taking us a while to get used to... the definition of soft and hard plastics but we are committed. Below are a few pics from my recent trip to Candidasa, Bali where school kids on their day off (Sunday) sort recyclables into soft and hard plastics for sustainable products and a sustainable future. it was very eye opening and rewarding. We are a very lucky country. See more

21.01.2022 Once again, made the paper... stardom here I come! Lol.

15.01.2022 Update: we no longer accept mixed soft plastics, Coles and Woolworths are collecting and sending some material to Redcycle.. please contact them for details.. We will no longer be collecting plastic dropped at Coles supermarkets, RedCycle now picks up the plastic placed in the bins at Coles. Please check the Instore signage for what they accept as they are more limited in what they will accept. We still continue to collect from ... 13.01.2022 Due to changes in the world market for plastics we have had to make the decision to discontinue receiving coloured and mixed soft plastics. This is because we no longer have a market for these types of plastics. As of Monday 19th March we will only accept clear plastics dropped into us. The information I have at the moment is that Woolworths and Coles will continue to collect mixed plastics on behalf of RedCycle, we will no longer be collecting from these sites.... You will need to contact them directly for what types of plastic they will accept for collection as I know RedCycle is very selective on what plastics they process.

12.01.2022 We have been getting a lot of queries this week after the fire in our area last week... The fire was behind us and had no impact on us.. we are open for business as usual.

08.01.2022 Loving the new plastic bag initiatives I've heard about recently. My husband has a bin at his work that gets collected by Coffs Harbour Paper and Oil. So now ...at home we are recycling our soft plastic for him to take to work. Our normally full red wheelie bin has been reduced to two small rubbish bags a fortnight! See more

05.01.2022 If you know who is dumping rubbish at our gates after hours could you please ask them to stop! We don’t dump stuff on your doorstep at night please don’t do it to ours!! None of this is acceptable to be dropped here during hours anyway!!! It was dumped between 7pm 11-6-18 and 6am 12-6-18..... Pass the word as we need this to stop!!

02.01.2022 We have a new employee!! Doesn’t say much or do a whole lot... but looks the part... just another one of those weird things that turns up in compactors delivered to our yard.. If you have any cardboard, soft plastics or cooking oil drop it down and make sure to say hi to the new guy!!

02.01.2022 Update: we no longer accept mixed soft plastics or collect from Coles, they still collect s limited amount and send to Redcycle for processing.. please contact them for details.. Update: COLES MOONEE will still be a drop off point and they will still pass on the soft plastics to us.. they ask that instead of dropping smelly bags of plastic into the store bin if people could take it down to the lower carpark and place it in bags neatly beside their compactor bin.. see comments for photo.. Shopping bags and clean plastic is ok to drop into the bin at the store entrance.

01.01.2022 Just a reminder and a request if you know of anyone still brining mixed plastics to us can you let them know that we no longer accept or process it.. we are still getting quite a few people dropping coloured plastics here and we can not process them anymore..
