Research has also shown that when it comes to walking, some is always better than none. This chart has data from a 2020 study that concludes increasing daily steps does lead significant health impacts! So - start small and gradually work your way to achieving those 10,000 life changing steps per day Reference link in bio.

14.01.2022 To our valued patients, Coffs Coast Sports Physiotherapy would like to assure our patients and clients that we are monitoring the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) information and advice closely. The situation is constantly evolving all around the world and the health and wellbeing of our patients is paramount and will be at the forefront of any decision made.... Based on current advice at this stage, all treatments and classes will continue. CCSP will continue to monitor the situation and act accordingly on advice from our medical experts, the Australian Government and the Australian Physiotherapy Association. Should public health advice and this position change, we will update our policies immediately. We ask that all patients and clients practice high levels of hygiene as per the government guidelines, such as: Use the hand sanitiser provided at reception on arrival to and departure from the clinic, or wash your hands with soap and water down the back in the kitchen Using a tissue and cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze, or use the crook of your elbow Avoiding close contact with others, such as touching, including shaking hands CCSP practitioners will be maintaining the highest possible level of hygiene. Beds and equipment are wiped down with disinfectant wipes after each consultation and practitioners are following guidelines specified. If you are feeling unwell, have Coronavirus / flu-like symptoms or have been in contact with someone who may be infected considering their recent gatherings, mode of travel, destinations both domestic and international please call to reschedule your appointment. We would appreciate all payment via card / contactless payments instead of cash where possible and will be removing magazines from reception to try and minimise any surfaces for virus transfer. We will remain open as normal unless we are advised to do otherwise. Most importantly - please be supportive of one another and check in on the elderly or isolated to see if they need anything. Thanks for your assistance during this difficult time for everyone. The team at Coffs Coast Sports Physiotherapy
