18.01.2022 CCWS is happy to announce the reopening of the Bowerhouse Community Reuse Shop located at the Raleigh Waste Management Facility as of Friday 10 July 2020. Following the relaxation of Covid restrictions and in line with Public Health Order advice, Bellingen Shire Council has made some changes to the operation of the shop to allow for a Covid Safe reopening of the premises. Changes include limited number of customers, social distancing requirements and the provision of hand san...itiser prior to entry. It is requested that customers observe the social distancing and good hygiene requirements and remain home if they have any symptoms of illness. It is also recommended that cashless transactions and the use of ETPOS are used where possible as an additional precautionary measure during this time. The shop is freshly stocked with new and interesting items and the staff are eager to see the community back for both bargain hunting and donations. We would like to invite the community to explore the many products available while assisting in diverting reusable items from ending up in landfill. The Bowerhouse Community Reuse Centre is open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30am to 4pm.

05.01.2022 Coffs Harbour City Council has now reopened the Englands Road Waste Facility for self-haul domestic waste from 7:30am to 5pm weekdays and 8am to 4pm on weekends. Residents are still being asked to only use the facility for the disposal of essential waste at this time, and to maintain social distancing requirements at all times. Site users are asked to observe the speed limits, signs and directions provided by traffic controllers.... Please note that priority access to the site is to be given to waste collection vehicles and commercial waste operators, and residents are being warned that there may be delays and queues to the site.
