And in my free mini-courses on the topic of animal emotions, I’ve helped thousands of animal lovers with their pets. This year’s course is called how to make your animals happy and is divided into 4 bite-sized chunks: Part 1, What is Happy? is released on Sept 17th. In this video, we’ll talk about how to map emotions into a model called Core Affect Space, and where we might find happy on that map. There are many types of happy what might it look like? Part 2, Why Emotions Matter, is published Sept 21th. Here’, we’ll cover how understanding emotions can help us develop better relationships with our animals. Also, how they impact the animal’s personality, stress sensitivity and well-being. Part 3, Positive Emotions, is available Sept 23d. Discussing some of the most important positive Core emotions (SEEKING, CARE and PLAY) and how you as an animal caregiver may encourage them. Part 4, Negative Emotions, hits the ether Sept 25th. Discussing the negative Core Emotions (FEAR, RAGE, GRIEF) and how you as a caregiver might help prevent or eliminate them. Unsure of whether it’s for you? 11.01.2022 It is so important to meet the parents when you purchase a puppy, and see where they were raised. The internet can tell a thousand lies and your pup has much less chance of being the well adjusted dog we all would like.
